Making money online = blogging or internet marketing?
According to Making money online from overseas markets for individuals, there is more ways to make money online than blogging and internet marketing. Other methods are trading stocks and selling services online. Some also say they do not know programming or web design, therefore they cannot make money online. Well, creating content websites including blogs does not required a degree in computing. So what is your 'reason' for not making some money online?

Konsortium express bus
Operation license for Syarikat Konsortium Bas Ekspres is suspeneded for a month. For those who have use service of Konsortium or have monitored accidents involving express bus, it should not be 'news'.
P.S. How do I get MCMC to enforce broadband quality of service? Lodging a formal complain? Some ISPs in Vista Komanwel routinely deliver a byte of data from foreign websites from 300ms to 900ms. It is equivalent to a normal 3-hour flight to a foreign city which may take 9 hours during nighttime. How is that sound to you?

I am still waiting for Malaysia property buyers to realise value of properties along LRT lines. It probably happens when Malaysia is a net oil importer, e.g. 2014, 2010

Kuala Lumpur City Plan 2020
Kuala Lumpur City Plan 2020 is here. If you care about the area of your home, take a really hard look on the plan. Personally I am not against development, but to 'rape' a place for maximum profit, that is another matter. I am not familar with zoning laws in Malaysia, but the followings happen in Kuala Lumpur
- Commercial outlets besides homes, e.g. restaurants, kindergartens
- Highways besides homes
- Construction activities after 18:00 even after midnight

I am nobody, but...
I am certainly nobody, but not Y.B. Mr. Ooi. I am glad today Y.B. Mr. Ooi agrees to ask MCMC how it enforce broadband quality of service
(1) MCMC, if you need me to file a report to fix quality issues of broadband service, let me know.
(2) ISPs, your job is not done after paying licensing fees.
I am not a pawn in a carve-out area.
I am a customer who pays market rate.
I am nobody.
But together, other broadband users and I, hear us 'roar'.

DiGi 3G, come to Vista Komanwel !
Mr. Dennelind, if you are Chief Listening Officer, you will hear the cry of broadband users in Malaysia for reliable broadband service, e.g. 99% uptime with reasonable speed, e.g. 300kbps download speed from US servers for 95% of time. DiGi is in good position to capture at least 30% of broadband market since DiGi has technical know-how and economies of scale. DiGi 3G, my RM 170 per month(subscription fee for TIME broadband and Celcom 3G) is yours if you can deliver...

An update of broadband services in Vista Komanwel
i
Celcom broadband download speed from Visualware CA server on 24/03/08 17:40
Note: Top download speed I have experienced from Visualware CA server is 1.2Mbps using StarHub cable broadband
I was stunned to get 600kbps download speed using Celcom broadband on 24/03/08 around 17:40. However the excitement wear off after testing Celcom broadband for the next few days as I am not able to get that kind of download speed again. It seems more than 300kbps download speed is only possible if I can get a HSDPA connection. Nowadays I usually can get normal 3G connection using Celcom broadband which mean the download speed is between 50kbps and 300kbps. The range of download speed is too high for me. Is this normal for 3G broadband?
Anyway, from various sources, e.g. forum, road show, iZZinet is providing wireless broadband service to Vista Komanwel using iBusrt technology. From my limited experience using iZZi broadband in Low Yat Plaza, the broadband service is pretty good, e.g. 300kbps download speed from Visualware CA server, 300ms ping time to US server which is not bad for wireless broadband. Any iZZi users in Vista Komanwel would like to share their experience?
For NetLynx/TIME dotNet, I believe consistent 500kbps download speed from US servers is not a lofty goal for a tier-one network provider such as TIME dotNet. In addition, RM 79/SGD 35 per month is not considered cheap using international standard. Malaysia broadband users have been 'patient' for the past few years. It is time broadband providers in Malaysia to treat their 'kings' fairly :)
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, please enforce Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. One of rules is throughput must not be less than 70% of subscribed level(uploading and downloading) for 95% of time, e.g. 700kbps download speed for 1Mbps plan.

Will the customer be 'king'?
By now you probably know we will have a new Selangor Menteri Besar. I hope business owners in Malaysia get the hint that customer is going to be the 'king'. There is less likely in future to have a 'protector' to guarantee your business.

I do not need to tell you importance of voting. I also do not need to tell you when is Malaysia General Election 2008 and where to vote for voters registered for Bandar Tun Razak area. If you decide to take LRT, below is a suggested walking route from Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station to Bandar Tasik Selatan national school
1. At the entrace of Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station, turn left and walk on covered pedestrian walkway. The pedestrian walkway will lead you to Lingkaran Tengah II.
2. At the junction of pedestrian walkway and Lingkaran Tengah II, turn left to a unpaved man-made dirt walkway. The walkway is behind the noise barrier.
3. At the end of dirt walkway, take the pedestrian crossover to cross over to the other side of Lingkaran Tengah II
4. Walk up the road towards Bandar Tasik Selatan national school.
5. At the junction, turn left and Bandar Tasik Selatan national school will be on the right hand side.

Celcom wireless broadband - my experience in Vista Komanwel C1
30/3/08 It seems Vista Komanwel is a 3G area for Celcom broadband
Vista Komanwel C1 is a GPRS area for Celcom wireless broadband. Effective download speed from Visualware LA server is between 50k and 100kbps. In HSDPA area, e.g. Ipoh new town, download speed from Visualware LA server using Celcom wireless broadband can be up to 700kbps during non-peak hours, e.g. 2am to 6am :) However ping time to US server is high, e.g. betweeen 350 and 1000ms. Hopefully Digi/TIME 3G is coming to Vista Komanwel in 2008/2009 :)
